Rotary Club of Brighton
Since its formation on 24th September, 1973, the Rotary Club of Brighton has lived up to the ideals of Rotary in its community service, fund raising and social programs.
From the relatively modest beginnings with 23 members in the cafeteria of the former Sandringham Technical School, to its present complement of 115 members at the Milanos Hotel, Brighton Beach, it has become the third largest Rotary Club in Australia. The influence of the club is all over the Bayside area and far beyond.
Sandringham Yacht Club
The team at Mercedes-Benz Brighton is also very involved as a partner of the Sandringham Yacht Club.
Commenting on the company’s decision to support sailing at Sandringham Yacht Club, Dealer Principal of Mercedes-Benz Brighton, Geoff Quirk, said:
“We are delighted to be involved with Sandringham Yacht Club, a club that shares the same high values and ethos as the team at Mercedes-Benz Brighton. We are excited about the number of exciting initiatives we have planned at the club for this season and the opportunities this relationship provides to both parties.”
Sandringham Football Club
The team from Mercedes-Benz Brighton have been one of the major sponsors of the Sandringham Football Club for the last 5 years.
Local community involvement is important to Geoff Quirk and his team so supporting this local club with a rich history of success was a good fit for Mercedes-Benz Brighton.
Geoff and his team are often involved at SFC coterie events and match days.
Beaumaris Football Club
Mercedes-Benz Brighton is a proud supporter of the Beaumaris Sharks. This relationship is now in it’s 3rd year with a number of sharks members taking advantage of the relationship. The Sharks have some ambitious plans for the future of the club and their facilities and need the support of local businesses to make them a reality.
Geoff and the team are proud supporters of the club and are looking forward to sharing in the future successes both on and off the field.
The True Believers are a St Kilda Football Club Coterie group primarily formed from within the Property and Construction Industry. We are on the march and growing rapidly! What started out as a few mates having a beer and swapping humorous Moorabbin anecdotes at a South Melbourne pub a few years ago has rapidly gained momentum and now boasts well over 150 paid up members. We are a vibrant and diverse group comprising football aficionados, Saints ‘tragics’ and complete novices, all passionate about the Saints and the difference we can make as a professional group.
Sorrento Football Netball Club
The Sorrento Football Club (known as the Sorrento Football Netball Club since 2012) has a very proud history of being an integral part of the local community since 1890. The Sharks are well know to have the best corporate lunches at home games with a multitude of entertainers and speakers all fighting to be part of the Sharks experience.
Maddie Riewoldts Vision
We are delighted to be supporting MRV, an organisation that been established to fund medical research into finding a cure for Bone Marrow Failure Syndromes. We have a huge amount of respect for this organisation and I am personally thrilled to be able to provide support to the efforts of the team at MRV. We are excited about the fundraising events the team have planned and are looking forward to a long and rewarding partnership.
Mercedes-Benz Brighton are proud supporters of the reimagine Moorabbin project. The project helped return the St Kilda Football Club to its spiritual home at RSEA Park in Moorabbin. It is incredibly exciting to transform Moorabbin from its current state of decay into an elite AFL training facility, administrative headquarters, thriving social and retail hub and a place where our community can celebrate our history and future successes.
A total of $27.6 million has been raised to Reimagine Moorabbin to date.
Firbank Rowing Club
The Rowing Club was established in 1992 and is the parent body who support and raise funds for our rowing program. They connect parents from different year levels, organise social functions and events and enjoy cheering from the river bank at the various regattas. Most of the fun and festivities take place on regatta days; with Firbank marquees, a BBQ trailer and lots of socialising along the riverbank. A major highlight for the Rowing Club is organising and hosting the annual Firbank Regatta on the Barwon River in Geelong.
